100% Pinot Noir from old vines planted in 1963 by Pierre’s grandfather, half on the Grand Cru Eichberg’s marly soils, and half on a parcel bordering the Grand Cru with a northern exposure. Hand-harvested, naturally vinified: 15 days of maceration of the whole bunches with gentle extraction, then 11 months of aging in barrels on total lees, without new oak. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration, and no added sulfites.
