100% Gamay from 70-year-old vines grown planted on the exceptional southeast-facing Bellevue parcel, showing soils of clay and limestone. Hand-harvested, yields around 40 hl/ha. Natural vinification: whole bunches, cold carbonic maceration for 18 days including 10 days in pre-fermentation, manual pressing in a vertical wooden presses, 6 months of aging in concrete vats. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulfur.

Raphaël Saint-Cyr is at the head of Domaine Saint-Cyr, located in Anse in Beaujolais. The history of the family estate dates back to 1949, when Pierre Saint-Cyr, Raphaël's great-grandfather, settled on this small farm. How far they’ve come over the generations!
