Nose carried by notes of black fruits, amarena cherry, mineral hint. Structured palate, the acidity is pefectly balanced, beautiful interpretation of the appellation. A few words from the winemaker: "a complete wine, with broad fruit, set on a solid body".

100% Pinot Noir from 52 year-old vines (on average), grown organically but not certified, and planted on three plots: Pointe de Tuvilains, La Blanchisserie and La Blanche Fleur, respectively on clay, clay-sandy and gravel soils. Manual harvest, yields around 40 hl/ha. Vinification: indigenous yeasts, punching down and pumping over according to the daily tasting, soft pressing, 12 months of aging in barrels with a maximum of 5% new oak. 3 to 4 months of blending, bottled at the Estate without fining.
David Croix
David Croix is at the head of the Domaine des Croix, located in the heart of Beaune. Originally from Montlouis-sur-Loire, the young guy knew from the age of 16 that he wanted to make wine, and therefore started a journey to become an oenologist. He went through the viti-oeno diploma in Tours, before leaving for Burgundy where he graduated from the Master of Oenology in Dijon in 2001. He...
