Powerful nose of stewed white fruit, raisins, biscuit... Voluminous, suave and long on the palate, a great gastronomic wine, to be sipped while listening a few Gainsbourg songs of course!
Second vintage for this 100% Chardonnay cuvée made from 60-year-old vines grown organically on the Bons Boire plot (hence the cuvée's name!), which benefits from excellent South-East exposure. Clay-limestone soils on Jurassic rock. Harvesting is done by hand, low yields. Natural viniifcation: directly pressed, fermented and aged in barrels on lees, followed by 6 months in vats. Bottling on the estate, sensible use of sulfites.
