Marsannay - 2022 - Jean Louis Trapet
Domaine Trapet
Highly complex, evolving nose, initially revealing raspberry, cherry, and strawberry jam, then unfolding with layers of forest floor, oak, spice, leather, and a hint of vanilla. The palate is elegant, fleshy, lively, and fresh, with a long, savory finish.

100% Pinot Noir from vines grown biodynamically, planted on three parcels spread across 1.7 ha, in the very well situated climats of Grasses-Têtes, a jewel of the commune of Marsannay, and of Grand Poirier, with vines that are about 60 years old. Natural vinification without additives, work by gravity, blending in vats of all the parcels for fermentation (without sulphur), soft pressing, aging in casks that have seen several wines. Bottled at the estate.
