Blanc de Blancs, 100% Chardonnay from biodynamically farmed vines planted on marl-limestone soils in the Le Temple parcel, located at the westernmost point of the appellation, in Nanteuil-sur-Marne. Harvested manually, with 75% from the 2021 vintage, complemented by 25% reserve wines from 2020. Direct pressing in a traditional Coquard press, with fermentation split equally between stainless steel tanks and old oak barrels. Aging on laths, disgorged on the 22nd of May 2024, zero dosage.
Jérôme Bourgeois
Jérôme Bourgeois, child of the ’77 vintage, is a very dynamic vigneron, born into a family of champagne producers with a history four generations deep. The 7-hectare estate is made up of some 20 parcels scattered around the town of Crouttes-sur-Marne, halfway between Reims and Paris. Jérôme took over the vines at the beginning of the 2000s from his parents, who had never bottled much wine...
