A blend of Nielluccio, Carcaghjolu Neru, Moresconu, Sciacerellu and Minustello, from vines grown biodynamically and planted on a clay-limestone soil, facing northwest and south, and growing in a windy climate. Manual harvest, low yields. Vinification: sorting of the bunches in the vineyard and in the cellar, passing through a sorting table, total desteming, vinification with indigenous yeasts in clay amphorae. Maturation in barrels that have seen several wines. The wine is neither fined nor filtered, zero added sulfites for this vintage!

Yves Canarelli took over his grandfather’s vines in 1993. In 20 years, he has shifted his viticulture over to biodynamics, and reintroduced ancient grape varietals like Cargaghjolu Nero, which nearly went extinct in the 1960s.
