Blend of 60% Nielluccio and 40% Sciaccarello, from 30-year-old vines grown biodynamically, certified by Demeter, planted on schist and basalt soils with Southeast exposure. Hand-harvested, yields around 40 hl/ha. Vinification: 90% de-stemming, 15 days of maceration, gentle pressing in pneumatic press, 18 months of aging in concrete vats. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration.

Manu Venturi, child of the 1975 vintage, born in Corsica to an oenologist father, is his worthy successor at Domaine Vico and Clos Venturi, in the heart of Haute-Corse.
