Le Mat du Raisin - 2022 - Ilaria Bellotti

A blend of Barbera and Dolcetto from the “youngest” vines of the estate – which are nevertheless 60 years old! These plots of red iron clay and limestone, farmed biodynamically, are the same that usually produce the Mounbé and Nibiò cuvées. Vinification: the grapes are 80% de-stemmed, then macerated on their skins for one week, with punch-downs to immerse the cap of marc, followed by maturation in 25hl- and 32hl-barrels that have seen several wines. Neither fined nor filtered, and no added sulphites.
