Jura
Chardonnay "Les Capucins" - 2022 - Marin Fumey
Domaine Fumey Chatelain
Very exotic aromas – pineapple, mango – enhanced by a hint of citrus. Huge tension, extremely pure and precise. A palate that’s powerful and balanced, finish with noble bitter notes and incredible length. Another approach to Jura's Chardonnay, and an original, truly interesting one!

100% Melon à Queue Rouge, an old grape variety from Jura related to the Chardonnay variety, even considered like it according to its appellation. The vines were planted in 1973 on rich gravel soils, over marls from the Lias era, on the Les Capucins lieu-dit, in the small town of Montigny-les-Arsures. South exposure. Manual harvest and natural vinification: direct pressing, 18 months of aging in 228-litre and 500-liters barrels that have seen several wines, on the lees. Bottled without added sulphites.
