Savagnin Ouillé - 2022 - Marin Fumey
Domaine Fumey Chatelain
Another huge success from the estate, a cuvée with a great deal of finesse and complexity, and notes of Mirabelle plums, pears, acacia flower and almonds... The palate is vibrant, with beautiful citrus fruit acidity, roundness and volume, and lovely bitter notes on the finish.

100% Savagnin from organically farmed vines, planted between 2007 and 2019 on the parcels of La Vasée, en Longchamp, Sauvagny, la Boutière, and la Teppe aux Loups, in the communes of Montigny and Arbois. Soils of marl and clays. The grapes are harvested by hand, followed by natural vinification: direct pressing, transfer into 228-litre and 500-litre barrels for 18 months of maturation, with regular topping up to maintain the level of wine in the barrels. Bottled at the estate at the beginning of 2024, with sulfites used only sparingly.
