A blend of 50% Grenache Gris, 40% Grenache Blanc and 10% Carignan Gris from 60- to 80-year-old vines grown biodynamically and planted on schist and clay-limestone soils, at the heart of the Hautes Corbières, at 200 metres altitude, in the communes of Villeneuve-les-Corbières, Durban and Cascastel. Grapes are harvested by hand. Vinification: direct pressing, fermentation and maturation in casks that have seen several wines for about 10 months, on the lees Bottled at the Estate without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur.

Maxime Magnon: simply put, it’s he who restored the image of the Corbières appellation. Burgundy-born, in his forties, he’s worked in Villeneuve-les-Corbières since 2002. But before that, Maxime studied and trained at length alongside many of the greats: Thierry Allemand, Thierry Valette, Selosse...
