Loire Valley
Bécarre - 2022 - Coralie et Damien Délécheneau
La Grange Tiphaine
An elegant nose, with notes of jammy red fruits and liquorice... Palate: a luscious wine, crisp with fine tannins. Generous and oh so drinkable! Should be opened an hour before tasting.

100% Cabernet Franc from 40-year-old vines farmed biodynamically and planted on red clay and flint soils, over limestone bedrock. The grapes were harvested by hand on the 30th of September 2022 with a sorting table in the vineyard and in the cellar. Vinification: two weeks of maceration in concrete vats, slow and delicate extraction, and maturation in barrels that have seen several wines. Light diatomaceous earth filtration before bottling. Bottled at the estate in July 2023.
Damien Délécheneau
Damien and Coralie Délécheneau met as classmates in Bordeaux, while both studying for their oenology diplomas, and haven’t left each other since. After each separately gaining experience (in the Beaujolais trade body, and in California for Madame, and training in Irancy, in Chablis at Domaine Laroche, in Saint Estèphe, and in Napa Valley for Monsieur) they finally returned to Amboise in 2002...
