La Bamboche - 2022 - Sophie et Clément Maire Kurdziel - Magnum
Vignobles Les Justices
Pure nose of crisp red fruit and raspberry. A wine of incredible freshness and fine tannins. Perhaps the perfect red, a wine you can enjoy from aperitif to the evening’s end, a festive, joyful wine, to be shared with friends – after all, the Bamboche (think “shindig” in French) never ends!

100% Cabernet Franc from vines farmed organically (though not certified) and planted around 1970 in Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg, at the vineyard site "Les Perrières", in the heart of the Saumur-Champigny appellation, with alluvial soils over a clay-limestone base. Harvesting is done by hand. Natural vinification: the grapes are destemmed, followed by 15 days of maceration with little extraction, and 8 months of maturation in vats. Bottled on the 26th of April 2023 without fining, filtration, just a micro-dose of sulphur during vinification.
