100% Chenin, from 10-year-old vines, facing South and planted on a superb terroir of sandy clay and numerous flint stones. The vines are certified organic by ECOCERT and biodynamic by BIODYVIN. The grapes were harvested by hand on the 21st of September 2021. Vinification: a delicate, direct pressing of the grapes, long fermentation with indigenous yeasts, 9 months of aging in casks than 9 months in wooden vats, amphorae and egg-shaped concrete vats. Bottled in March 2023.
Damien Délécheneau
Damien and Coralie Délécheneau met as classmates in Bordeaux, while both studying for their oenology diplomas, and haven’t left each other since. After each separately gaining experience (in the Beaujolais trade body, and in California for Madame, and training in Irancy, in Chablis at Domaine Laroche, in Saint Estèphe, and in Napa Valley for Monsieur) they finally returned to Amboise in 2002...
