Sans Pagne - 2023 - Ludovic Chanson
Domaine Ludovic Chanson
Nose with notes of white fruits, in-your-face minerality, a floral touch. Palate: an elegant sparkling wine, with a slightly bitter finish, the name of this cuvée is obviously a reference to Champagne!

A different blend each vintage, with 2023 featuring 70% Chardonnay and 30% Chenin, from vines grown organically and planted on the estate, harvested by hand. Natural vinification: direct pressing, fermentation started in tanks, bottled in October 2023 with residual sugars to create the effervescence in the bottle, aged on laths for 10 months, disgorged in July 2024. A cuvée "sans pagne" (without loincloth), which means it is a naked wine! In its purest form, no additives, unfined and unfiltered, just a micro-dose of sulfur.
