A blended cuvée of 35% Cinsault, 30% Grenache, 15% Counoise, 10% Carignan and 10% other grape varieties from vines farmed organically and planted on gravelly and silty soils in the commune of Saint Hippolyte le Graveyron, facing south. The grapes are handpicked, with yields of 40 hl/hectare. Vinification is natural, without any additives: semi-carbonic maceration for 1 to 2 weeks, followed by 6 months of maturation in concrete vats. Neither fined nor filtered, and zero added sulphur.

Thomas Jullien, child of the 1983 vintage, is the head of Ferme Saint Martin, an estate perched at the highest point of the Beaumes de Venise appellation, in Suzette. This family vineyard, founded in 1964 by Thomas’ grandparents, Aimé and Yvonne, was converted to organic viticulture in 1998.
