Grand Vin De Château Latour - 2015 - Hélène Génin
Château Latour
Words may not be enough to describe the tasting emotion when Château Latour is in the glass. Notes of undergrowth, blackcurrant, violet, tobacco, cedar, vanilla, and cocoa emerge... This is a wine to be awaited, followed by mandatory decanting.

Over 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by a touch of other Bordeaux varieties, mostly Merlot, from 60-year-old vines on average, farmed biodynamically and planted within the Enclos of Château Latour, particularly on the Gravettes, Sarmentier, and Pièce du Château parcels. Hand-harvested, with meticulous selection both in the vineyard and at the winery, this wine undergoes gentle vinification, with the best barrels chosen to create the blend for the Grand Vin of Château Latour. Aged in new oak barrels. Sold in individual wooden cases.
