Complex nose carried by a concentrated black fruit, that softly melts into blackcurrant jelly, earthy notes and soft spices. Fleshy and equally complex palate, delicate structure, perfect balance between acidity and fine tannins, beautiful length. It is racy and digestible at the same time.
Antoine Sunier
Antoine Sunier, child of the 79 vintage, was in no way predestined to become a winegrower... Son of a hairdresser, he had a first professional life in telecoms for 13 years, but was then titillated by the wish to have his feet in the vineyards, thanks to his brother Julien Sunier, who set up his own estate after returning to Beaujolais in 2003. In 2008, while he was living in the French Basque Country, Antoine decided to leave everything behind to follow a year of studies in Beaune. He was in class with Camille Lapierre, Christelle Roch... let's say it, incredible classmates! He did his internships at Château de Prémeaux, and learned winemaking with Lapalu. An impeccable track record! Afterwards, he bought a house with 3.8 hectares of vines in Régnié, distributed his first vintage in 2014, and was certified organic in 2020. Today, with his 5.5 hectares of vines (4.3 ha in Régnié and 1.1 ha in Morgon), Antoine follows the lunar calendar and vinifies his juices naturally. A piece of work to keep a close eye on!

Fruity nose carried by notes of cherry, plum, strawberry and raspberry… Fine and delicate on the palate, beautiful structure and perfect balance acidity/tannins for the 2020 vintage, beautiful length and of course this very very good drinkability that we love in Antoine's wines!
It was love at first sight during our tasting, a beautiful vintage to keep for years, on notes of amarena cherry, raspberry, a hint of leather and soft spices. Superb palate, velvety and long, perfect tannins/acidity balance, it's already delicious but be patient, it will age superbly!
2021 offers us a highly juicy and supple profile, on notes of redcurrant jelly, red berries, blood orange... An immediate juice, with only 12% alcohol, why deprive yourself ? A top-notch glouglou, with a beautiful texture!
Highly fruity nose, on notes of cherry and red fruits, enhanced with a hint of spice. Structured, balanced and long palate, luscious, with even more finesse on this 2021 vintage, a juice with a superb drinkability. Careful, you'll want more!
Immediate crush for this little red fruits bomb: raspberry, wild strawberry, red currant... Palate: superbly balanced, a very juicy and fluid 2021 vintage, an "old-style Beaujolais" as Antoine told us, with only 12 % alcohol. We're big fans!

A pursuite of Gamay and the purity of wine! As 2023 is a generous vintage, the nose is reminiscent of Beaujolais, with black cherry and crunchy red berries, while the palate offers lovely complexity and a slender body.
