Fine, elegant nose with notes of orchard fruit, lemon and a hint of pastry. The palate is perfectly balanced between smoothness and tension, with a long, saline finish, as invigorating as swimming in the sea in Brittany!
Pauline and Édouard Cazals
Pauline and Édouard Cazals are behind Brittany's first professional vineyard, Les Longues Vignes. Édouard, a native of Normandy, got his first taste of agriculture at the age of 15, during vegetables harvest. He then trained for a diploma in viticulture and oenology, and studied after Mitjavile at the iconic Domaine Tertre Rotebœuf in Bordeaux. Pauline also took her first steps in wine during a season at this vineyard, and their sensitivity to low-intervention winemaking comes fromt his experience. After a stint in New Zealand, fate led them in 2017 to this terroir in Saint-Jouan-des-Guérets in Northern Brittany. They liked the terroir and climate immensely, and discovered that the plot was called "Les Longues Vignes", proof of Brittany's winegrowing past. In 2019, they planted one hectare of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Grolleau on this magnificent hillside, along with fruit trees. Truly a beautiful first vintage that resurrects Breton vineyards, artisan wines and ciders.
Deep, complex, and evolving nose, with notes of blueberry, strawberry, rose, violet, pepper... Supple, velvety mouthfeel, well-integrated tannins, long finish with a saline touch. Glaz is a Breton word that evokes the ever-changing hues of the sea in Brittany!
Fruity, luscious and "gourmet" nose with notes of peach, mirabelle plum, honey, white flowers, hint of nutmeg... The palate is supple and round, both salivating and ample, with a long finish on notes of dried fruits.
A superb nose, fruity, floral and mineral, with notes of raspberry jam, crushed strawberry, rose, long pepper... Supple, luscious palate, with well-integrated tannins, and a long and mineral finish.
A rather complex and bewitching nose with notes of tarte tatin, salted butter caramel, candied orange and sweet spices... On the palate, it's delicious and round, with a fresh, slightly bitter finish. A complex, intense and generous cider!
Apples and pears on the nose, obviously, enhanced by notes of honey, white flowers and verbena. On the palate, it's both super-indulgent and fresh, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of tension and minerality, with great purity and a long finish.
Sabali means Patience in Malian... a patience oh so rewarded by the results in the glass! Complex nose, both creamy and fresh, with notes of pear, acacia and minerality. Palate: fine, elegant bubbles, sapid finish, a festive cuvée.
A delicately sparkling juice with unmistakable notes of pear (of course!), crisp Granny Smith apple, and candied citrus peel. The palate leans gastronomic—subtly fruity, super fresh, and seriously thirst-quenching. A surprisingly versatile pairing, from oyster platters to crumble. Simply delicious.
Aromas of sesame, almond, white fruits, and butter. On the palate, surprisingly fluid considering the intensity of the nose, with beautiful breadth and impressive energy and liveliness. The finish is aromatic and long, carried by fine, elegant bitterness.
Surprising, charming nose with ripe, jammy black fruit and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, true Pinot character shines through with fine, structured tannins and good length. Definitely a favorite. The finish is mouthwatering, fresh, and delicious, dominated by crushed strawberry.
