RS stands for Rosso Saša, the winemaker's red. Complex nose, hard to guess the Merlot, with notes of marzipan cherry, plum, leather, cocoa, a touch of balsamic and smoke. Palate: a powerful, structured wine with a lush texture and a long finish, definitely a wine for food pairings.
Saša Radikon
Saša Radikon embodies the 5th generation of the legendary Radikon estate, located in Olsavia, Italy, on the border with Slovenia. His father, Stanko Radikon, played a major role in the renaissance of skin-contact wines, the precursor of orange wine even before the success of today's natural wines! Saša took over the reins of the estate after his father's death in 2016. A fine legacy: 12 hectares of vines on very steep slopes, local grape varieties, a unique terroir without chemical treatments. He strives for perfect ripeness of the grapes, sublimated by the long macerations that only Radikon can achieve with such freshness! In the cellar, family traditions continue: natural fermentations, long macerations, zero added sulfur. Saša has even kept the bottle format (50cl and 1L), ideal for ageing and tasting. Unique wines, rare emotions, in short Radikon is RADIKALLY different from anything you've ever drunk!
