Stéphanie and Eduard Tscheppe-Eselböck
Stéphanie and Eduard Tscheppe-Eselböck run Gut Oggau in the Eastern Austria region of Burgenland. These natural-wine darlings are making a name for themselves, and with good reason: since 2007, they have been producing biodynamic, sulfite-free wines. Before taking over this estate (which had not seen human hands for over 20 years), they started with solid foundations: Eduard comes from a family of winegrowers, while Stéphanie comes from a line of restaurateurs, having worked at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Paris. Their common dream “was and is to create something lasting, to change the world, to be inspired and to inspire”. The 14 hectares are managed with a holistic approach, creating a synergy that is reflected in their family of wines, with each cuvée endowed with a first name, a face and a character. These bottles are always prized, but unfortunately increasingly rare, so we're very proud to present part of the Gut Oggau family at Pur Jus!
