Chardonnay - 2023 - Marie Devigne et Guillaume Hagnier

Dantelezh

Complex nose, very classy, fruity and chalky, indulgent but without any heaviness, perfectly balanced! The palate is sharp and tense with a long, saline finish. A beautiful cuvée that whets the appetite, making us rediscover Chardonnay in a very airy, pure, and saline light.

Hand-harvested on September 15th, direct pressing in a pneumatic press. Vinification: fermented with neutral yeasts in stainless steel tanks, aged on lees in these same tanks for 7 months. Bottled on April 6th, 2024, without fining or filtration, sulfur added in order to protect the wine (75 mg/l of total SO2).

Marie Devigne et Guillaume Hagnier

Marie Devigne and Guillaume Hagnier are the proud parents of two little ones and of a few newly planted vines in... Brittany! Grab your raincoats and the salted butter, we’re heading to Sarzeau, a small town between Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Morbihan, that used to produce wine until 1950! 70 years later, it’s back on: after working in Champagne estates, Marie and Guillaume planted 5 hectares...
