Gamay and Pinot Noir from vines spread over three parcels for a total of 60 ares. Located around Gevrey, this terroir borders the Gevrey-Chambertin AOC. As the Trapet family likes to put it: "the commitment to respect the grape is pushed to its limit. Intensive work is done before the harvest (biodynamic viticulture) and at the time of harvest (harvesting by hand, careful sorting, use of gravity...). Once the grapes are in the vat, we use no sulphur and the fermentations start naturally. This is our philosophy in the purest sense – a minima."

Jean-Louis Trapet is part of a select circle of the 10 greatest vignerons of the Côte de Nuits. His family estate, founded by his great-grandfather in 1870, is composed of around 15 hectares of the most beautiful parcels around Gevrey.
