100% Pinot Noir from vines cultivated biodynamically and planted in 1979 on a 0.20-hectare parcel of the clay and limestone soils that make up the excellent terroir of Chambolle-Musigny. The soil is ploughed with horses, green harvesting, leaf removal and harvesting of grapes at maturity is done by hand, and yields are kept under tight control. Vinification: 30% whole bunches, gentle pressing, 16 months of maturation in oak barrels. Neither fined nor filtered, bottled in accordance with lunar cycles.

Cyprien Arlaud embodies the third generation of Domaine Arlaud, a relatively young family estate born in 1942 of the meeting and marriage between the Burgundian Renée Amiot and the Ardéchois Joseph Arlaud.
