Pinot Noir from old vines cultivated biodynamically and planted from 1957 to 1973 on soft clay-limestone soils, with a bit more sand than the neighbouring climats. The soil is ploughed with horses, the grapes are harvested by hand, and yields are kept under tight control. Vinification: 30% whole bunches, gentle pressing, 16 months of maturation in oak barrels. Bottled without fining or filtration and in accordance with lunar cycles.

Cyprien Arlaud embodies the third generation of Domaine Arlaud, a relatively young family estate born in 1942 of the meeting and marriage between the Burgundian Renée Amiot and the Ardéchois Joseph Arlaud.
