A cuvée of Pinot Noir from one of the oldest parcels of the estate, acquired in 1877, a parcel near the Grand Cru climat Grande Chapelle. The climat Petite Chapelle, ranked a Premier Cru, is also known as Ergot. A single parcel of just 40 ares. Manual harvest and sorting. Natural vinification, always very precise: delicate crushing of the bunches, indigenous yeasts, no additives or sulphur, transfer of the juices and wine by gravity. Long aging in barrels that have seen several wines.

Jean-Louis Trapet is part of a select circle of the 10 greatest vignerons of the Côte de Nuits. His family estate, founded by his great-grandfather in 1870, is composed of around 15 hectares of the most beautiful parcels around Gevrey.
