Pinot noir from 45-year-old vines planted on two terroirs totalling 35 ares, Les Brulées to the South of the Nuits-Saint-Georges appellation and La Petite Charmotte to the North. Hand-harvested, de-stemmed, retaining only 10% of whole bunches, gentle maceration, 14 months of aging in French oak barrels, 25% of which are new.
Maxime Dubuet-Boillot
Maxime Dubuet-Boillot, child of the 1989 vintage and grandson of a farmer from Corberon and a vigneron from Volnay, first turned his back on his family vineyards before finally returning to them for good. Maxime’s career began not in wine but auto racing, working as a mechanic for The 24 Hours of Le Mans. He pursued that passion for 10 years before heeding the call of his winegrowing roots....
