Pinot Noir from vines grown using biodynamic methods and planted on Les Pézerolles, a plot of 1.35 ha. The de Montille's parcel is located in the heart of the Cru, the best part that used to be "Le Clos de Pézerolles", white marl soils. Hand-picking at maturity, controlled yields. Vinification: two weeks of maceration with a third of whole bunches, maturing in barrels, 30% of which are new. Wine neither fined nor filtered, sulphur reasoned in order to protect the wine. Bottled at the estate with a waning moon.

Etienne de Montille personifies the Domaine de Montille, the celebrated estate in Volnay whose origins date back to the 1750s.
