100% Pinot Noir from biodynamically-grown vines planted on a 0.96-hectare parcel in the En Champans climat, one of Volnay's largest and most renowned crus, which features limestone soils at the top of the parcel and a more clayey terroir at the bottom. Harvested by hand. Vinification: maceration with 1/3 whole bunches, alcoholic fermentation in large wooden vats and aging in 228-liter barrels, with 30% new oak.

Etienne de Montille personifies the Domaine de Montille, the celebrated estate in Volnay whose origins date back to the 1750s.
