100% Vermentino from Demeter-certified biodynamic vines planted in 1982 at the Ponte-Leccia copper mine on schist and basalt. South-East exposure, at the top of the slopes. Hand-harvested, yields around 30 hl/ha. Vinification: short maceration on the skins, then pneumatic pressing, fermentation and 18 months of aging in egg-shaped concrete vats, on fine lees. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration, 6 months of bottle aging in the estate cellars before releasing the cuvée.

Manu Venturi, child of the 1975 vintage, born in Corsica to an oenologist father, is his worthy successor at Domaine Vico and Clos Venturi, in the heart of Haute-Corse.
