100% Sciacarello from vines grown biodynamically and planted on a granitic terroir, facing northwest, on a windswept. The Estate is certified organic since 2002, and biodynamic since 2006. Manual harvest, the yield for this cuvée was around 30 hl/ha. As for vinification: 30% whole bunches, indigenous yeasts, matured for 24 months in a 34-hl oak cask. Bottled at the Estate without fining nor filtration.

Yves Canarelli took over his grandfather’s vines in 1993. In 20 years, he has shifted his viticulture over to biodynamics, and reintroduced ancient grape varietals like Cargaghjolu Nero, which nearly went extinct in the 1960s.
