Riesling Auslese Kinheimer Hubertuslay** - 2019 - Markus Molitor
Weingut Markus Molitor
A nose with mineral, floral and fruity notes such as quince, honey, jasmine, and citrus peel. The palate is full bodied and generous, yet balanced by lovely tension and fine acidity, topped off by a long, salty finish, with a hint of candied pear.

100% Riesling from vines cultivated with sustainable methods, planted at the Kinheimer Hubertuslay site (rated two stars!), on decomposed grey slate soils, facing south/southwest. Harvesting is done by hand, with meticulous sorting to select only healthy, perfectly ripe berries. Vinification: after light crushing the grapes macerate for a few hours, with indigenous yeasts, followed by gentle pressing, and transfer into tuns that have seen several wines for fermentation and maturation on fine lees. Bottled at the estate without fining or filtration.
