Pinotto - 2022 - Clémentine Bouvéron et Gian Marco Antonuzi
Azienda Le Coste
A complex juice, a little tangy candy carried by notes of cranberry, fig and red plum, dried rose, mineral touch. Full-bodied and powerful on the palate, a bit wild. A wine with great potential for evolution.

A blend of Pinot Noir and Syrah, grown in the Quercennali vineyard, planted on two different plots at 470 meters, result of two massal selections, one derived from the PNT vineyard, the other directly from Yann Durieux Burgundy's estate. Manual harvest with a beautiful maturity. Vinification: whole clusters, carbonic maceration for about one month. Pressing, end of fermentation and aging in 5 hl oak barrels, for a total of one year, then maturation in bottle for about six further months. Unfined, unfiltered, without added SO2.

Gian Marco Antonuzi
Gian Marco Antonuzi and Clémentine Bouvéron live in Gradoli, 150 km north of Rome. Clémentine studied oenology and Gian trained under such renowned vignerons as Barral and Pacalet . The young couple settled here in 2004 and started their estate from scratch, the land uncultivated but for a grove of olive trees abandoned for the last 20 years – good news when one doesn't want to inherit...
