100% Sangiovese from 20-year-old vines, conducted under the principles of biodynamics and planted on the plots of Bosco, Lupo, Strada and Quercia at 450 metres above sea level. Soils of shales, sandstone and marls. Natural vinification, each plot is vinified separately: 15 to 20 days of maceration before élevage in large wooden casks for 30 months. Blending before bottling, unfined, unfiltered, microdose of sulphur.

Francesca and Margherita Padovani are the sisters at the head of Domaine Fonterenza, in Montalcino, Tuscany. An adventure that goes back to…1997! After moving from Milan, they took over the reins of the family farm, and along the way, decided to produce their wine according to the principles of organic farming.
