Teroldego grown on this terroir produces fresher, more refined wines, with notes of black fruits, and plenty of juiciness.
100% Teroldego from vines grown biodynamically and cultivated on a sandy clay soil. The vines are 50 years old. The grapes are de-stemmed. The maceration, fermentation and maturation take place in 450-litre clay amphorae over 8 months. Next, the wine is racked and matured for three additional months in acacia wood barrels. New wood is forbidden. Unfined, unfiltered, just a very light dose of sulfites at bottling.
