The visual aspect of these bottles has created controversy in quite a number of countries, enough to suggest Jura’s most emblematic winegrower enjoys playing with the law. This cuvée is made from old Gamay from the Fleurie region of Beaujolais, and old Jura grape varieties from the estate. Vinification: low temperature semi-carbonic maceration with indigenous yeasts, followed by one year of maturation in truncated conical vats – all without filtration or added sulphur.

Jean François Ganevat
Jean-François Ganevat represents the 14th generation of vignerons of his family in Rotalier, in the south of Jura. After years working as the cellar master of Jean-Marc Morey in Chassagne-Montrachet, he took over his family’s estate in 1998.
