Le Carré - 2021 - Jean François Ganevat - Magnum
Domaine Ganevat
An intense, complex nose, ultra aromatic with notes of dried fruit, hazelnut, dried apple and salted butter on toast. A delight! The palate does not disappoint – sublime length, beautiful substance, and a subtle, salty finish.

100% Savagnin from old vines planted on grey Lias marl and variegated marl soils, in the Côtes du Jura appellation. Hand-harvested. Naturally vinified at Domaine Ganevat: direct pressing, indigenous yeasts, aged on lees in old demi-muids barrels for three years, with regular topping-up, so it’s not an oxidative wine. Bottled at the domaine without fining, filtration, or any added sulfites.
