Clef de Sol Rouge - 2021 - Coralie et Damien Délécheneau
La Grange Tiphaine
An elegant, floral nose, with notes of elderberries... Palate: a concentration of fruit and freshness, structured and mineral. Rather rich, crafted for food pairings.

A blend of Côt and Cabernet Franc, from 60-year-old vines planted on soils of red clay and flint stone. The vines are certified organic and biodynamic. The grapes were harvested by hand, on the 4th of October 2021 for the Côt and on the 14th for the Cabernet Franc. Vinification: total destemming, maceration and fermentation in cement vats. Slow, delicate extraction. Aging in 225- and 400-litre barrels that have seen several wines, without racking. Lightly filtered with diatomite earth before bottling at the estate in July 2022.
Damien Délécheneau
Damien and Coralie Délécheneau met as classmates in Bordeaux, while both studying for their oenology diplomas, and haven’t left each other since. After each separately gaining experience (in the Beaujolais trade body, and in California for Madame, and training in Irancy, in Chablis at Domaine Laroche, in Saint Estèphe, and in Napa Valley for Monsieur) they finally returned to Amboise in 2002...
