100% Côt from 120-year-old vines, cultivated biodynamically (certified by Biodyvin) and planted on red clay and flint soils. South-East exposure. The grapes were harvested by hand on the 1st and 2nd of October 2021. Vinification: the grapes are destemmed, followed by 15 days of maceration in concrete vats and 9 months of maturation in 225-litre oak barrels that have seen several wines. Unfined, unfiltered, lightly sulphured. Bottled in July 2022.
Damien Délécheneau
Damien and Coralie Délécheneau met as classmates in Bordeaux, while both studying for their oenology diplomas, and haven’t left each other since. After each separately gaining experience (in the Beaujolais trade body, and in California for Madame, and training in Irancy, in Chablis at Domaine Laroche, in Saint Estèphe, and in Napa Valley for Monsieur) they finally returned to Amboise in 2002...
