Very intense and concentrated, the nose presents a blend of aromas of dried fruits and harmonious spices. Notes of licorice mingle with younger flavors of toasted almonds and fruit, followed by some citrus notes. On the palate, it offers a nice freshness and a silky texture. This Colheita 2009 is a magnificent port, seductive, with a very long finish. Already filtered, drink it between 9 and 14°C. Consume within 3 months after opening, and keep it refrigerated.
Blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinto Cão and Sousão from the Quinta do Noval vineyard. The grapes are crushed by foot to obtain the must, then during fermentation, in the lagares (the traditional stone vats of Quinta do Noval), where rigorous and intense crushing is essential to obtain a good result. Aged in oak barrels until bottling. Already filtered, drink between 9 and 14°C. Consume within 3 months after opening and keep it refrigirated.
