A fine success for this elegant, well-balanced orange wine, revealing lovely aromas of white peach, exotic fruit and flowers... Fresh on the palate, with a beautiful aromatic structure and fine bitters on the finish. Perfect as soon as the sun comes out!
A blend of 50% Grenache Blanc, 25% Viognier and 25% Vermentino, from 10 to 30 years old vines, grown biodynamically planted in the Mont Ventoux region, on gravelly and sandy soils for the Grenache, and clay soils for the Viognier and Vermentino. Harvested by hand on the 28th of August 2023. Natural vinification in the Loire: total destemming, three weeks of maceration in vats with some punching down, gentle pressing, 8 months of aging in vats on fine lees. Bottled in April 2024 with a low dose of sulfites.
Clément Nicolas and his wife Laure-Anne took over the reins of Domaine de Bellivière in a smooth transition in 2021, after Clément had joined his parents, Eric and Christine Nicolas, at the estate in 2015.
