First vintage for this cuvée, 80% Cinsault and 20% Grenache Noir from 40-year-old vines planted on sandy soils located 200 meters from the estate. The plot was purchased last Spring, and has been cultivated organically since then. Manual harvest. Natural vinification, work by gravity, just a little bit of extraction, aged in egg-shaped concrete vats for 9 months. Bottled at the estate in May 2023, without fining or filtration, just a micro-dose of sulfur.
Stanislas Wallut
Stanislas Wallut stands alone today at the helm of this estate which he took over alongside the Roy de Blicquy family in 1993. An estate built from the ground up, 8.5 hectares located in the commune of Orange, in the northern part of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation.
