100% Syrah, a single vineyard cuvée made from the estate’s oldest vines, planted in the 1970s on deep granite soils. The three parcels represent one hectare in total and are located at 350 metres altitude. The vineyards are cultivated biodynamically and the grapes are harvested by hand. Vinification: de-stemming, maceration and fermentation in concrete vats, and one year of maturation in 80% in 600-litre demi-muid casks that have seen several wines. Neither fined nor filtered, and no added sulphites.

Jean Delobre of La Ferme des 7 Lunes, located between Valence and Vienne, took over the family business in 1984, following in the footsteps of his grandparents and parents. At the time, the estate was devoted to polyculture and vines were just one of their crops, farmed with chemical treatments while selling the grapes to the local cooperative.
