100% Syrah, certified organic and Biodynamic, grown on the terroir known as Beaumont Monteux, with a well-drained soil of clay-limestone and detrital pebbles. Manual harvesting. Vinification: grapes are 100% destemmed, around 30 days of maceration of the berries, gentle punchdowns, soft pressing. Vinification and aging in concrete tanks, for 9 months. Bottled at the estate on the 25th of April 2024, after light filtration and with a low dose of sulfur.
David Reynaud, today in his forties, took over the family estate in 2000, and from the beginning, wanted to convert the vineyard to biodynamics. In 2002, he stopped delivering his grapes to the cooperative, which was uninterested in his desire to improve his work methods!
