A nose of ripe black fruits, olive, a hint of pepper, and leather. Fine tannins with excellent aging potential. What truly stands out in this cuvée is its exceptional length—an elegant power that lingers beautifully on the palate!
100% Syrah. From the estate’s highest parcel, 70-year-old vines facing south, on a gentle slope with little to no soil, only decomposed granite. Vinification is traditional with whole cluster grapes, with a small portion crushed to help start the fermentations. Maceration for 15 days, without additives, with a little punching down of the cap, maturation in demi-muids and barrels that have seen several wines. Bottled without filtration or added sulphur, between August and October depending on the cuvée.
