Roussillon
A sun-drenched cuvée from a great terroir, with a complex nose of stewed black fruit, fresh fig and Earl Grey tea. This is already a very elegant Donna with a bright future and dazzling aging potential.
100% Syrah from 26-year-old vines grown organically without any treatments (not even copper or sulfur), planted in Calce on the Coll de la Dona schist soils. Hand-harvested, low yields of 12 hl/ha. Vinification: 50% de-stemming, 7-week maceration in vats, pressing in a vertical press, 18 months of aging in an amphora and a barrel. Unfined and unfiltered, with no added sulfites. 1087 bottles produced, matured for another year in the winery's cellars.
