Roussillon
La Louve Noire - 2023 - Laurence Manya Krief
Yoyo
A very beautiful nose that burst of flower notes, that gradually reveals notes of stewed red fruits, plum... The palate is juicy, digestible, with a fine acidity, perfect red wine for Mediterranean cuisine on sunny days. Long finish with a touch of soft spices.

Single-plot cuvée, this is a big mix of Roussillon and South West grape varieties: majority of Syrah, Grenache in three colors, Carignan in three colors, Muscat, Mourvèdre, Macabeu, Cinsault, Viognier, Chasselas, Tannat... Vines from 20 to 80 years old, grown organically and planted on this 50-are plot, harvested manually on the 21st of August 2023. Vinification: carbonic maceration for 10 days in stainless steel vats, soft pressing, aging in barrels of several wines. Not fined, not filtered, just a micro-dose of sulphur. 800 bottles produced.
Laurence Manya-Krief
Laurence Manya-Krief is sincere, upright, and determined... Formerly a sales director in ready-to-wear fashion, at 35 years old she dropped her career for a life of vines. Today, our taste buds are thrilled that she did! She may be petite, but she cultivates some of the most difficult plots in France. Her steep slopes are completely incompatible with mechanised farming, so she depends instead...
