Le Puits de Laurie - 2021 - Bruno Duchêne
Domaine Bruno Duchêne
An immersive ‘Vin Doux Naturel’ (or ‘natural sweet wine’), with notes of dried fruits, blueberry jam, chocolate… Silky palate, generous without any heaviness, exceptional length. Laurie, one of Bruno's grape picker, fell in the well of the parcel, therefore gave her name to this cuvée!

100% Grenache Noir from organically conducted vines planted on shale soils, on a parcel in Banyuls, on a terrace with steep slope, with grass cover between the rows. No mechanisation for the work on the vines year-round, everything is done manually, just like the harvest. Natural vinification: total destemming, start of the fermentation process in a wooden vat, fortification according to the traditional vinification of the Banyuls, aging in barrels of several wines. Bottled at the Estate in May 2022. Unfined, unfiltered, zero sulphites added.
