Ravage - 2020 - Delphine et Yann Bouvier
Domaine de l'Immortelle
Ravage: 80% crop loss in 2020, mildew has stuck. The surviving grapes give a magnificient juice, with floral notes, fruity and fresh mouthfeel. Volume, roundness, long finish. A standout favourite from our tasting, incredible quality for the price.

Blend: 90% Carignan planted in 1972 on red schists, and 10% Muscat Petit Grains planted in 1990 on grey schists, from organically grown vines. Harvested manually when the Carignan is ripe, at that time the Muscat is already overripe. Vinification: total destemming, three days of co-maceration of the two grape varieties with some pump overs. 7 months of maturation in vats, bottled at the beginning of April 2021 without fining or filtration, micro-dose of sulfur. 2020 bottles produced and numbered.
